The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) administers tax laws for the Government of Canada and for most provinces and territories, and administers various social and economic benefit and incentive programs delivered through the tax system.

Some of the key duties that students might perform may include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing a variety of administrative support services using various computer software programs.
  • Processing and data entry, searching databases and producing reports.
  • Communicating with a variety of internal and external clients, providing information or advice.

Please note that positions in Corporate areas may also be staffed from this process. Corporate areas include: Information technology, Communications, Finance and Administration and Human Resources.

We are currently looking for talented Indigenous* students who live or go to school in the administrative regions of Quebec to fill various position in our organization.

This staffing process may be used to staff positions in the following cities : Brossard, Chicoutimi, Jonquière, Laval, Montréal, Québec, Rimouski, Rouyn-Noranda, Shawinigan, Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières.

Preference will be given to Canadian citizens who meet the job requirements.

Education – Essential requirement

For Summer 2019 positions: You must be registred as a full-time* student at a recognized postsecondary institution in Fall 2019. A proof of registration will be required.

For Fall 2019 and Winter 2020 positions: You must be registred as a full-time* student at a recognized postsecondary institution during the term for which you will be hired. A proof of registration will be required.

*or part-time basis due to a disability, as recognized by the academic institution

To be eligible, you must download the following documents:

  • your most recent transcript in the Education section of your Candidate profile in ISS
  • your proof of full-time enrollment in a program at a recognized post-secondary institution in the fall of 2019
  • your CV (You must upload your resume to the "Documents" section of your Candidate Profile and attach it to your application in Step 3: Select documents (select the box) prior to "Submit Application".) 

These documents must be attached to your application at the time you apply, otherwise your application may not be considered further.   • SU-03 University Undergraduate
  • SU-04 Masters
  • SU-05 Doctorate

You will be eligible to receive pay based on the Students Rates of Pay as set annually by the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat.

Before proceeding with appointments from this staffing process, the manager will give priority for appointment to individuals with CRA preferred status.

Appointments made from this staffing process will be based on one or more of the staffing requirement(s) identified on this notice.
