We are currently looking for talented individuals to fill a variety of exciting and challenging positions in various program areas. The job duties will vary depending on the position.

This staffing process may be used to appoint candidates to various entry level positions at the following levels:
- SP-04 - salary range $51894 to $58409
- SP-05 - salary range $56727 to $63848
Please note that positions may also be used to staff in: Corporate Services, Communications, Finance and Administration and Human Resources.

Persons living in Canada and Canadian citizens living abroad who have graduated, or will graduate from a recognized post-secondary institution (e.g. college, CEGEP, university) between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2019.
Preference for appointment will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order.
Qualified veterans and members of the Canadian Armed Forces who are appointed are not entitled to relocation costs from the CRA. They may, however, be entitled to a final relocation from the Department of National Defence.
Essential Staffing Requirements
To be eligible, you'll need to meet the following requirements.

- Degree, applied degree or diploma from a recognized postsecondary institution (e.g. college, CEGEP, university) conferred between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2019.

You may be assessed using one or more of the following methods:

- Situational Judgment Test – Recruitment Version (C-301) - Standardized assessment tool - Pass mark: 60/102
- Writing Skills Test (WST) (B305) – Standardized assessment tool - Pass mark: Level 2
- Test d'aptitudes à écrire (TAE) (B306) - Standardized assessment tool - Pass mark: Level 2
- Accounting Level 1 - Multiple choice test (AC-MCT) E100 – Standardized assessment tool - Pass mark: Level 1
- Accounting Level 2 - Multiple choice test (AC-MCT) E101 – Standardized assessment tool - Pass mark: Level 2
Please note:
- Experience can be demonstrated through employment, volunteer work, student employment and/or scholastic activity or achievement. Experience may be validated, references may be required and interviews may be conducted
- A "top-down" approach using the Situational Judgment Test may be used to identify a reasonable number of candidates with the highest scores to continue in this staffing process
- If you have completed Financial Accounting Fundamentals course (FA1 and/or FA2 or equivalent) and you meet the educational equivalency for FA1/FA2, you will be exempt from writing the respective standardized Accounting Levels 1 and 2 multiple-choice tests
- The acceptability of courses is determined by comparing the courses from the postsecondary institution taken by a candidate to the courses on the transfer credits or prerequisite studies lists issued by one of the recognized professional accounting associations
- Results from standardized assessment tools are portable to other staffing processes
- Results from locally developed assessment tools are not portable to other staffing processes
For some jobs, we may give preference to candidates with specific education credentials in a related post-secondary field or specific courses completed. However, you are encouraged to apply, as many of our jobs do not require specific education - there is a place for talented candidates at the CRA!
Conditions of employment:

- Willing to travel
- Valid Driver's License and/or personal mobility to a degree normally associated with the possession of a driver's license
- Willing to work shifts or a flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends (including statutory holidays)
- Capacity to regularly lift objects weighing up to 10kg
- Willingness to attend and complete training

Assessment
Candidates are expected to make themselves available for assessment when scheduled. Please note that there will be no rescheduling without extenuating circumstances. If you fail to present yourself at your scheduled testing or interview session, you will be deemed to have withdrawn from this process and will not be considered further.

One or more pools of eligible candidates will be established from this staffing process.
Should you be successful and accept a permanent offer of employment, you will no longer be eligible for subsequent appointments at the respective level from this staffing process.
