About the job

Early Intervention and Return to Work Coordinator (SP-06) -SP0708

 

You will be responsible for providing case management services to client managers and employees as it relates to return to work and accommodation measures.   This would include:

 

  • Utilizing knowledge in return to work and accommodation measures and cases,  based on legislation, policy and procedures
  • Applying your up-to-date knowledge of disability management practices/processes
  • Working in collaboration with various stakeholders, including labour relations, management, bargaining agents etc.

 

Various Linguistic profiles : English essential, (BBB/BBB) and (CBC/CBC)

To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements.

 

Education

  • A secondary school diploma or CRA-approved alternatives.

 

Experience

Candidates will be required to meet all of the following experience factors that follow:

  • Experience* in analyzing situations and using judgment to provide advice and guidance, and recommend solutions to employees and/or managers. **Important : See the note below**
  • Experience* in collaborating with internal  and/or external stakeholders to resolve sensitive issues.
  • Experience* applying legislative and policy requirements supporting the development and implementation of action plans and/or accommodation plans.
  • Experience* in managing a varying workload with multiple conflicting deadlines and/or priorities

 

*Experience is normally associated with the performance of these functions as part of the major job duties accomplished for a minimum of 12 months, including at least a minimum of six (6) consecutive months, within the last five (5) years.
