About the job

As a manager, you will be called to :

  • Manages human and financial resources in order to deliver the CPP/EI Rulings program in accordance with defined goals and objectives. This includes the "virtual management" of subordinate managers and staff and other resources situated in multiple locations within the Region.
  • Manages, establishes, directs and controls various CPP/EI Rulings programs and projects through subordinate managers and in conjunction with senior management to deliver the program effectively and efficiently to achieve optimal results.
  • Defines local or regional program goals, operational priorities and performance expectations and develops risk assessment criteria as part of the management framework.

Federal public service employees working in the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean Region whose organizations is found under Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act.

Please note that this process will be used to staff positions in Chicoutimi only. As a result, if you are selected for a position from this process we will expect you to relocate to this location. Virtual reporting may not be possible.

Qualified members and former members of the Canadian Forces who receive an offer of employment are not entitled to relocation costs from the CRA. They may, however, be entitled to a final relocation from the Department of National Defence.

 

Essential staffing requirement(s)

To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements.

Education

  • Successful completion of a post-secondary school diploma.

Experience

  • 36 months of normally acquired work experience within the last 48 months in a first level supervisory position that allowed you to :
    • Define expectations for performance, monitoring and providing verbal and written feedback;
    • Implementing a collective agreement;
    • manage labour relations files
    • monitor program delivery and the quality of service provided to clients;
    • directing and guiding staff
    • promote the professional development of employees through consultation, training or coaching sessions
