The Internal Audit and Evaluation Directorate is looking for talented and motivated people to join a high performing team  that emphasizes team work and adherence to the Institute of Internal Auditors and Code of Ethics standards. You can expect to work with management, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders from across the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).  More specifically you will lead the development, conduct and reporting of independent and objective internal audit and consulting services for the Commissioner, Board of Management, and senior management of the CRA.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, public health recommendations and restrictions are in place across Canada and may change as circumstances evolve. You may be required to temporarily work remotely (e.g. from home). You may also be required to work from a city where we have a CRA office. Essential staffing requirements

To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements. 

Education

A degree from a recognized postsecondary institution or a secondary school diploma with an acceptable combination of training, and/or experience related to independent internal audits, reviews or studies.

You must upload your education credentials* (e.g. diploma, degree and transcripts) in the education section of your candidate profile and submit all required documents by the closing date and time of this poster. Failure to do so may result in your application not being considered further.  
*Foreign education credentials must be confirmed by a recognized credential assessment service.

Experience
•Experience* in conducting  independent internal audits, reviews or studies. This includes experience in all three phases: (1) planning, (2) examination (gathering data, analyzing evidence, and developing findings), and (3) reporting.

AND

•Experience* preparing internal audit products, such as terms of reference, summary of findings and briefing material and/or preparing presentations related to internal audit, reviews or studies to senior management (Assistant Director-level and equivalent and above) or corporate committees.


*Experience is normally associated with the direct responsibility to conduct independent internal audits, reviews or studies as part of the major job duties accomplished for a period of at least 30 cumulative months within the last 7 years
