Intent of the process

When you apply to this staffing process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, candidates who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.

The candidate pools established from this staffing process will be used to staff MG-01, MG-02 and MG-03, positions, and may be used to staff similar positions.

  • Leads, directs, facilitates and monitors the activities of the team to meet established objectives.

MG-01 Salary Range - $59,623 to $76,864

MG-02 Salary Range - $65,200 to $84,057

MG-03 Salary Range - $70,126 to $90,404

Qualified members and former members of the Canadian Forces who receive an offer of employment are not entitled to relocation costs from the CRA. They may, however, be entitled to a final relocation from the Department of National Defence.

Essential Staffing Requirements

To be eligible, you'll need to meet the following requirements.

Education

  • the CRA's minimum education standard for: MG is a Secondary School Diploma (High School) or CRA - Approved alternatives.
  • A CRA approved test (General Intelligence Test – GIT-320) may be given to candidates that do not meet the minimum education requirement of Secondary School Diploma

Candidates with foreign education credentials must have their education confirmed by a recognized credential assessment service, at the time of application. If they do not have their foreign education confirmed prior to the assessment stage they will be screened out of the process. Please visit the Canadian Information Centre of International Credentials website at http://www.cicic.ca/  Note: Any applicable fees are the responsibility of the candidate.

Experience

Minimum of 6 cumulative months experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity within the last 3 years. Must be able to demonstrate experience supervising or leading a team, managing a project, and communicating with internal and external contacts while in a supervisory or leadership role.

Please ensure you have uploaded the your proof of education (high school diploma) in the Education Section of your candidate profile.  If you have higher education, please include proof of both, high school and post secondary. We may limit the number of candidates to be considered further in this staffing process by using a top-down approach to select candidates with the best results achieved.

Essential

The essential staffing requirements indicated below will be assessed during the process and may be used to identify candidates for positions.

  • Mobilize People, Achieve Results & Client Focus - to be assessed using Unsupervised Internet Test (EPSI Internet Test)
  • Second Language Evaluation (for bilingual positions only)
  • General Intelligence Test – GIT-320 if candidate does not meet minimum standard of education.

Asset

 Asset staffing requirements may also be assessed during the staffing process and may be used to identify candidates for positions. You will be notified in advance of any asset requirements to be evaluated.
