Are you curious and resourceful? Do you enjoy working on complex files? We are currently looking to fill Customer Service Subject Matter Expert positions (Labour Relations Technical Advisor).

Key activities :

  • Takes a leadership role, provides technical expertise on complex Labour Relations situations, such as the interpretation of the collective agreements, administration of disciplinary measures and recourse to senior management and other human resources practitioners;
  • Provides support and advice to senior management and other human resources practitioners regarding the various Labour Relations matters;
  • Performs analysis on regional trends in Labour Relations;
  • Contributes to the professional development of Labour Relations advisors through personalized coaching and technical presentations on subjects of interest and current topics in Labour Relations;
  • Provides input into national and regional Labour Relations policies and strategies in order to carry out the Agency's business objectives and priorities.

SCREENING FOR PREREQUISITES STAGE

Who can apply?

Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) employees who are holding or/and working at the HR-03 level position or higher.

AND eligible veterans and Canadian Armed Forces members.

AND individuals with preferred status who live or work within the general rule of minimum distance of the position(s) being staffed.

AND Federal public service employees in organizations found under Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act.

Please note that this process will be used to staff positions offered only at Workplace Relations Centre of expertise in the Quebec Region, whose offices are located in Montreal TSO, Shawinigan NVCC and Jonquiere Tax Center. As a result, if you are selected for a position from this process we will expect you to work from one of these offices. 

Applicants from the general public who do not meet the criteria required to apply on this staffing process will not be considered and will not be contacted.

Virtual work* may be possible, if operational requirements permit.  

* This could include working from home or working remotely from another CRA institution different from their manager's.

Qualified members and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces who receive an offer of employment are not entitled to relocation costs from the CRA. They may, however, be entitled to a final relocation from the Department of National Defence.

Minimum staffing requirement

You must upload your proof of education in the Education section of your Candidate profile by the closing date and time indicated on this poster. Failure to do so may result in your application being rejected.

Essentials staffing requirements

  • Possess a work experience normally acquired of 6 consecutive months within the last 36 months in a HR-03 (labour relations advisor) or higher position at the Workplace Relations Centre of expertise in the Quebec Region.

OR

  • Possess a work experience as a specialist advisor in labour relations of 18 consecutive months within the last 36 months in a PE-03 or higher position.

It is the candidate responsibility to demonstrate that they meet the experience requirements. If you do not provide sufficient information, your application may be rejected.
